Matthew Martin, M.A.

Matt Martin, MA is a Project Coordinator with PORTAL. Prior to joining the group, Matt was a graduate student with the Duke Initiative for Science & Society, pursuing scholarly interests in the ethical and legal challenges of biomedical innovation and technology transfer. His previous experiences include work at the National Cancer Institute, Research!America – a DC-based health research advocacy alliance – and research institutions abroad. Matt received his M.A. in Biosciences, Bioethics, & Science Policy and a graduate certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Duke University and his B.S. in Chemistry from Furman University.
