Neeraj Patel is a research assistant at PORTAL interested in health policy questions associated with prescription drug pricing and risk-benefit assessment, regulatory decision-making processes, and access to healthcare. He graduated from Yale University in 2020 with a B.A. in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology and Political Science (concentrating in Health Policy). At Yale, his research focused on healthcare financing reform, scarce medical resource allocation, and the respiratory effects of air pollutants and e-cigarette use.
